Simms Electronics has a thorough understanding of 10/100 and Gigabit Ethernet interface standards, requirements, features and protocols for use in communications products. We have created numerous embedded and FPGA Ethernet circuit design solutions and we have used Ethernet controllers and FPGAs from several semiconductor manufacturers.

Our Ethernet circuit design experience includes real time audio over Ethernet and power over Ethernet as well as more typical data solutions. The products we have designed using power over Ethernet are compliant with the 802.3af standard, and have been verified through external compliance testing.
